It is not known if the alleged victim has become infected with HIV.
As a teenager, Webster was featured in stories by several media outlets, including The Star-Ledger and CNN, as someone living with HIV.
When he was 14, Webster and his parents were on a CNN program in which his father said he’d had conversations with his son about how it isn’t even safe to have sex with someone else who has HIV.
In 2006, Webster was interviewed as part of a series of stories in The Star-Ledger marking the 25th anniversary of the discovery of AIDS, in which he talked about being diagnosed as HIV-positive as a baby. He said he was adopted after contracting the disease from his birth mother.
He also said he practiced abstinence, but had had girlfriends.
"I have always told them the truth about being HIV-positive," he said in the interview.
An aspiring rapper, Webster goes by the nickname "Yungboip" on his Facebook page.
